1/2 Tonto National Forest fire fighters responded to a new wildfire Tuesday afternoon in the Lower Sycamore area. Firefighters stopped the forward progression of the Eve Fire at 2.5-acres. A crew remained on scene conducting mop-up Wednesday. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
