11/12 Tonto National Forest firefighters responded to a new wildfire Monday. The Buck Fire is burning north of Cottonwood Trailhead, off Forest Road 401A, in the Four Peaks Wilderness. The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation. As of last night, the fire was about 50-acres in size and 0% contained. Fire managers ask that public to avoid the area.
