10/31 A minivan caught fire in front of Bashas on North Humphreys Street in Flagstaff Wednesday morning, destroying the van and causing damage to the store. Flagstaff Fire says an off-duty firefighter was on scene and tried to control the situation until the first unit arrived. Crews doused the fire and stopped it from further spreading into the building. No injuries were reported. What caused the van to catch fire is under investigation.
This Flagstaff Bashas is unusual because it has two parallel parking spots right next to the front of the store. They should eliminate those 2 spots for fire safety reasons.
