10/30 Prescott Police rolled out the SWAT team Monday night after responding to a report of a man threatening a woman with a handgun in the 300-block of North Montezuma Street. When officers tried to contact the man, who was in his vehicle, the man refused to cooperate. The SWAT team arrived and used non-lethal tactics to remove the man from the vehicle. He was then evaluated by mental health professionals before being jailed on charges of aggravated assault, disorderly conduct with a weapon, and endangerment. A 9mm handgun was recovered from the car. No names were released.
