10/30 Yavapai County School Superintendent Tim Carter appointed Sharon Kelly to a vacancy on the Canon Elementary School District Governing Board. The appointment takes effect January 1-st and expires at the end of 2026. The opening was created when no one ran for the seat being vacated by Board Member Jamie Risedorf, who chose not to run again. Carter interviewed 2-candidates for the position.
