10/29 The Cottonwood-Oak Creek School District received an A-grade for the 2023/24 school year according to the Arizona A-F School Letter Grades. Cottonwood Community School, Cottonwood Education Services/Verde Tech High School and Oak Creek School all received A-grades while Dr. Daniel Bright and Mountain View Preparatory received B-grades. The district is one of three in Yavapai County to receive the A-grade. The district saw a 3% increase in English Language Arts and a 5% increase in Mathematics, outpacing the state, which saw no overall increase in English and a 3% decline in math.
