10/24 A candidate for the Ash Fork Joint Unified School District Governing Board has pulled out of the race. Yavapai County School Superintendent Tim Carter says Luz Matson has withdrawn from the race. Since the November 5-th ballots have already been printed and the election cycle is in progress, it’s not possible to remove Matson from the ballot. Carter says any votes Matson does receive, will not be counted.
