10/16 The National Interagency Fire Center says wildfires continue to burn in 7-geographic areas, where 24-large active wildfires have burned 1.2-million acres. More than 10,000-wildland firefighters and support personnel are assigned to incidents. Seven complex incident management teams and hundreds of wildland firefighters and support personnel continue to assist with hurricane relief efforts in Florida and North Carolina.
