10/02 The Wasson Peak Fire, south of Crown King, is estimated at 17-acres and crews are working to establish containment lines around it. At this time there are no values at risk or threatened and there are no road closures. The Muldoon Fire on Towers Mountain was contained to 1-acre. The public is asked to avoid Forest Road-92. Both fires were caused by lightning.
