Coconino County Sheriff’s Office still looking for two men that raped a woman near Kachina Village

The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office continues to ask for the public’s help in identifying the two men that sexually assaulted a woman Thursday morning near Kachina Village. Officials say the victim was walking along Forest Road-237 when two men in a pickup approached her and sexually assaulted her. The men were driving a 1980’s full size pickup, maroon or burgundy in color; the paint was faded with some metal showing and rust. Both suspects were Hispanic males and only spoke Spanish. One was 5-10 with a dark complexion, thin build and short hair with a small/light mustache. The second suspect was thicker with a chubby build, a precise squared short haircut. Both men were believed to be in their early 30’s. Anyone with information is asked to call the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office or Coconino Silent Witness.
