Governor Doug Ducey this morning directed that flags at all state office buildings be lowered to half-staff until sunset Friday, in honor of State Trooper Tyler Edenhofer who was killed in the line of duty Wednesday from injuries related to a shooting. Another State Trooper, Dalin Dorris, was critically injured during the tragic incident. Edenhofer was a rookie in training and had just graduated from the academy in May. The suspect in this incident, which occurred on I-10 near Goodyear, grabbed one of the Troopers weapons and shot them both with it. The suspect has not yet been identified.
