Early this morning, DPS responded to a single vehicle collision on northbound I-17, near Sunset Point. DPS Spokesman Quentin Mehr says the male driver of an SUV, lost control of the vehicle causing it to roll over, blocking the outside lane of traffic. Mehr says the driver was airlifted to a Phoenix area hospital for treatment of injuries. North bound I-17 was closed for about an hour.
