Early this morning, DPS responded to two separate accidents involving tractor trailers at the same location on I-40, 10-miles east of Flagstaff. Trooper Kameron Lee says it appears a semi rolled blocking the right lane of I-40 and then a second semi struck the guardrail face blocking the left. He says the driver of the rolled semi was transported with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the other semi had to be extricated and was later pronounced deceased. Traffic was allowed by on the shoulder for a time and is down to one lane while cleanup is underway.
