Fire managers on the Verde Ranger District are planning to burn piles starting on Wednesday. The week long burn will treat approximately 126 acres on Mingus Mountain. Locations are near the Mingus Academy and the Brindle Pup Mine. These are brush piles that have been generated from a recently completed fuel breaks.
