As of 8am Friday morning, Central Arizona Fire and Medical along with Prescott Fire, Verde Valley Fire, Yavapai County and the Prescott National Forest will lift all fire restrictions and related closures. Significant monsoon rainfall prompted officials of the city of Flagstaff, Sedona Fire District and the Coconino National Forest to rescind restrictions Wednesday. Kaibab National Forest lifted restrictions across the Williams and Tusayan Ranger Districts as well. Tonto National Forest will lift it’s campfire, smoking, and target shooting restrictions and the Grand Canyon National Park will remain under Stage I. Check with your local fire jurisdiction or the website of the forest you’ll be visiting to find out if any restrictions still apply.
