Community members should be aware of the potential harm from Diamond Shruumz microdosing chocolates. Since last week, this product has sent 5 Yavapai County individuals (2 youth and 3 adults) to the hospital.
Arizona
· Five cases in Yavapai County in the past week.
· All 5 known cases associated with consumption of the Diamond Shruumz chocolate bars.
· One or two suspected cases in Maricopa County dating back to April. These cases were just recently discovered and the investigation is ongoing. |

· Eight total: Alabama (1); Indiana (2); Kentucky (1); Missouri (1); Nevada (1); Pennsylvania (1); and South Carolina (1) |

| Individuals who consumed Diamond Shruumz-brand products reported a range of severe symptoms, including seizures, central nervous system depression (e.g., loss of consciousness, confusion, sleepiness), agitation, abnormal heart rates, hypertension or hypotension, and nausea and vomiting.
So far in Yavapai County, it appears that all cases are associated with the chocolate bars, but in other states, reactions are also associated with the company’s other products, namely cones and gummies. This is not an FDA regulated food product, so we do not have a comprehensive list of where the products are being sold. We have heard that some were purchased at vape shops, but similar products are also available online and in other local retail locations. Initial investigation points to a specific batch of products, but I don’t know if ingredients from that batch extended across product lines. |
