Last Wednesday morning deputies responded to an assault on Antelope Road in Cordes Lakes involving Shannon Wilcox, Justin LeBeau, Josh LeBeau and a man later identified as Andrew Perry. When deputies arrived, they located a large amount of blood in the roadway with a trail leading up into the lower portion of the residence. Having knowledge that Justin had a severe case of hemophilia and requires daily injections for treatment, coupled with witness statements that reported Justin ran into the house but did not come out, deputies entered the home and found Justin unresponsive. He was transported to the hospital for treatment, undoubtedly saving his life.
Preliminary investigation revealed Perry and Wilcox drove to the residence and allegedly assaulted Justin in the driveway. When Josh tried to intervene, he was also assaulted. Josh eventually sprayed the suspects with mace, and the two retreated and ran back to the car. Justin chased after them and confronted them, punching through the back window, which is where it is believed he sustained the injury to his arm.
Perry, 24, and Wilcox, 36, both from the Cordes Lakes area, were booked for felony Aggravated Assault, and Perry also faces a felony charge of Endangerment.
