Sobriety checkpoint along Forest Service Road 240, on the Coconino National Forest, Saturday

Game and Fish officers will conduct a sobriety checkpoint along Forest Service Road 240, on the Coconino National Forest, next Saturday, from west of Mormon Lake to Munds Park. Officials say the main purpose of the checkpoint is to detect and deter violations of Arizona’s laws regarding the operation of an off-highway vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The state’s off-highway vehicle rules and regulations can be found on Game and Fish’s website at azgfd.gov.
