May 15th, 2024 at approximately 11:15 am a report of shots fired was received by Flagstaff Police in the area of Bushmaster Park, 3150 N Alta Vista Dr.
Witnesses in the area described the individual shooting the handgun as a slim build Native American male approximately 20-30 years old wearing all black and possibly having a tattoo on his arms. No injuries were reported at Bushmaster Park.
Law enforcement personnel are actively following up on leads and searching for the individual who was reported to have fled in a north to west direction from Bushmaster Park after the shooting.
The subject is considered armed at this time. More information will follow as this incident is active and evolving.
