The Governor’s Office of Highway Safety released the DUI arrests made between July 3-rd and 4-th. Officials say there were 289 DUI arrests made over the 2-day period with 44 of those charged with aggravated DUI, 245 with misdemeanor DUI and 62 drivers with extreme DUI. Seven arrests were made for under 21 DUI and there were 73 DUI drug arrests. Contact was also made with 310 designated drivers. DUI patrols will continue across the state through Sunday night.
