Early Friday morning April 12th, a YCSO Detective was called out reference a traffic stop in Chino Valley. The 55-year-old driver was in possession of three thermos type containers containing a liquid that tested positive for methamphetamine. All three thermoses had “straw” type hoses running away from the top of the containers which is consistent with vent hoses to release hazardous gases away from the container. The thermoses also had a chemical type of smell. During an interview the driver denied manufacturing methamphetamine.
The 54-year-old passenger in the vehicle was in possession of one fentanyl pill. Both the driver and passenger were arrested by PANT detectives in 2022.
They were both arrested and booked, charges include manufacturing a dangerous drug.
