The City of Prescott has canceled their 4-th of July fireworks show. All other Independence Day activities planned at Mile High Middle School will move forward as planned from noon to 9-pm that day. The fireworks were canceled due to the extremely dry conditions and high fire danger. The fireworks will be used instead during the Octoberfest event in September. Flagstaff also canceled their fireworks display.
