The Verde Valley Archaeology Center will hold their new Native American Heritage Pathway on Saturday, June 30-th. Director Ken Zoll says during the opening weekend, Pathway Hosts will be available to answer any questions. He says after the first weekend, the free privately-owned park will be open daily from dawn to dusk. The path is located on land donated to the museum by Scott Simonton of Gilbert; it contains a prehistoric pit house village of 12-dwellings dating to about 600 A.D, with one feature dating even earlier.
