YCSO released further details on the shooting death of attempted homicide suspect, 30-year old Troy Mobley of Phoenix. Mobley and two other suspects were the focus of a manhunt June 12-th in the shooting of a man outside an area pawn shop in Prescott Valley. Spokesman Dwight D’Evelyn says after the shooting, Mobley fled to Spring Valley where he confronted an individual he was acquainted with. He says Mobley was disguised in a wig. He says the homeowner recognized Mobley and new he was wanted for the earlier shooting. When the homeowner told Mobley to leave, Mobley hit the victim in the face with a soda can and then reached into his pocket. Thinking Mobley had a gun, the homeowner drew his own gun and shot Mobley. Mobley later died at a Phoenix area hospital. No charges have been filed against the homeowner. The two other suspects in the initial attempted homicide, 21-year old Skyler Beveridge of Prescott Valley and 22-year old Zachary Bowling of Mayer, remain jailed.
