Yavapai County and its contractor will be starting road construction in the Verde Villages Monday at Monte Tesoro Drive, Peila Avenue, and Camino Real. Road construction will include earthwork to improve sight distance at the intersection of Camino Real and Peila Avenue. The project will also include overlaying new asphalt on Peila Avenue, Camino Real, and on Monte Tesoro. Construction will take place Monday through Thursday from 7-am to 5:30-pm and continue through August. Motorists should expect minor delays.
