Monday morning, Central Arizona Fire and Medical crews were dispatched to assist Arizona Department of Fuels and Fire Management crews on a grass fire near the Haystack Ranch Subdivision in Prescott. Officials say the fire was started while heavy machinery was working on the road and quickly spread to approximately 3 acres in size. Officials say it took crews an hour and a half to contain the fire.
