Verde Valley Fire responded to a report of a structure fire on the 300 block of Rancho Vista Way Sunday evening. Assistant Chief Joe Moore says crews arrived to an attic fire venting from the north side of the structure. He says crews made an attack through the garage attic access quickly stopping the fire spread to the rest of the structure. Moore says crews were on scene for 2 hours and there were no injuries. What caused the fire has not yet been released.
