Two 122-ton, 145-foot girders are passing through Prescott and Kingman this week on their way to Nevada. ADOT officials say the oversized loads are heading through the Prescott area in order to avoid the ongoing I-17 construction work around Flagstaff. The oversize loads will travel north on I-17 and then Highway-69 and Highway-89 to I-40 westbound. DPS Troopers will escort each load. Some minor delays should be expected.
