Sunday afternoon, Flagstaff Fire crews responded to a wildfire burning in the wooded area near South 4-th Street. Crews found an acre-fire actively burning. Officials say the Coconino National Forest also responded with a water tender and two engine companies. Crews quickly stopped the forward progress of the fire and remained on scene conducting mop up. Officials say four tents and various camping supplies were found near the origin of the blaze. The incident remains under investigation.
