9/23 For the first time since the August 29-th flood event in the Grand Canyon, park officials have been able to stay overnight in the inner-canyon, which will allow for more work to be done. The Grand Canyon remains open on both the South Rim and North Rim, with modified operations and closures in some affected inner-canyon areas. Visitors should check current park conditions before traveling. Visitors should also make sure they have their own water with them. Stage-4 water restrictions remain in place.
