9/14 Grand Canyon National Park says they’ve not located 53-year-old Timothy Smith, of Wyoming, who was swept away by flood waters on August 29-th. The search continues along the river corridor. Park officials say water restoration work is moving ahead with the footprint for the new water intake constructed. Crews are also making progress on the wastewater treatment plant and hope to have it up and running for limited service soon. A Starlink/FirstNet system was installed at Phantom Ranch, restoring Wi-Fi and cell service in the area. On the South Rim, workers are getting ready to start and test the water treatment plant.
