9/14 Flagstaff says the minimum wage in the city is set to increase to $18.95 an hour, starting January 1-st. In 2016, voters in Flagstaff passed Proposition-414, the Minimum Wage Act, in which the city’s minimum wage is adjusted annually by the change in the cost of living. The Act also stipulates that employees who regularly receive tips, such as wait staff in a restaurant, must be paid the same wage as non-tipped employees.
