8/20 NAU Police say members of the public have received calls from what appears to be the departments non-emergency number claiming they have a warrant for their arrest or are involved in some sort of illegal activity. The potential victims are then ordered to pay or face immediate arrest. Officials say hang up and report the call to your local police. Never send money or provide personal or financial information.
