8/20 Arizona Forestry says the Six Fire, south of Globe, is 75% contained at 43-acres. Officials say firefighters were able to stop the fire’s forward progress Monday. Resources were able to establish containment line around most of the fire and spent the day improving and strengthening the handline ahead of forecast storms. Today crews are monitoring the containment lines and dousing hot-spots. The fire started August 18, in the Mountain Gate RV Park.
