8/04 There will be an active shooter training exercise at NAU this Friday, from 8-to-noon. NAU Police, Flagstaff Police, Emergency Management and several other agencies will participate in the exercise to strengthen their coordinated response in the event of a shooting on campus. The exercise will take place in several vacant buildings on the north campus. Officials say several north campus roads, parking lots, and sidewalks will be closed or will have limited access during the exercise, including East Franklin Street, McCreary Drive and the bus transit route through north campus on Beaver Street.
