8/04 A YCSO deputy took a dangerous driver off I-17 recently. Officials say the deputy witnessed as a woman in her 60’s passed multiple vehicles on the shoulder of the interstate. In addition, the driver stopped along the left-hand passing lane while being pulled over, making the traffic stop even more dangerous. Inside the vehicle, the deputy noticed an open container of alcohol and methamphetamine sitting next to the driver in the console. She was arrested on several drug charges, having an open container of alcohol and for having a fictitious license plate on her vehicle.
