The National Weather Service in Bellemont has issued a Fire Weather Watch for Saturday due to strong winds and low relative humidity. The watch is in place for Apache, Navajo and eastern Coconino counties. Southwest winds of 15-to-25-mph with gusts up to 40-mph should be expected. A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions are possible and any fire that starts would spread rapidly.
