6/26 YCSO arrested 35-year-old Jennifer McPeak of Phoenix for allegedly stealing more than $40-thousand from her employer. Officials say McPeak was the general manager at a Black Canyon City area business. The business noticed large money discrepancies in April, at which time the investigation began. YCSO says McPeak stole the money between September of last year and this April. McPeak is charged with felony theft, fraudulent use of a credit card and destruction of evidence.
