6/17 Tonto National Forest officials say the Sycamore Fire, formally called the Brush Fire, has burned up to 400-acres. It’s located between Storm and Grapevine Canyons on the Globe Ranger District. No communities or infrastructure are currently threatened. Gusty outflow winds from passing thunderstorms have increased fire activity resulting in visible smoke in the surrounding areas with an increase in fire size.
