6/17 CAFMA and Prescott Fire responded to a brush fire in Chino Valley Sunday. Officials say lightning struck a large dead cottonwood tree, setting it and the brush around it ablaze. Crews knocked the fire down and spent Sunday night dousing any remaining hot spots.
