5/13 A woman was seriously injured yesterday when she was hit by a car outside of the Prescott Women’s Clinic. Prescott Police say a 78-year-old woman, who was parking, hit the gas instead of the brake and collided with a block wall. The vehicle then ran into a 21-year-old woman walking on the sidewalk. The victim suffered major head and facial injuries as well as fractures to her left wrist and ankle. She was flown to a hospital in Phoenix for treatment. Officials say impairment does not appear to be a factor in the crash.
