4/21 Prescott Valley Police say K9 Mac passed away unexpectedly over the weekend. Mac joined the department in 2024. He was 2.5-years old and had been trained in narcotics detection and patrol apprehension. He helped with the seizure of 14-pounds of fentanyl, 5-pounds of methamphetamine, 1-ounce of cocaine, and several firearms related to drug arrests.
