Jerome Fire receives multiple calls for rattlesnakes in the past two weeks

Blair says last year they responded to 33 snake calls, during which specially trained crew members captured and then relocated the snakes. Blair says if you see a snake, it may just be passing through, but if it presents a real hazard call your local fire department.
