12/15 Saturday morning, Central Arizona Fire and Medical and Prescott fire, responded to a house fire in the area of Ponderosa Park Road. Officials say they believe the fire started in the fireplace and spread to the home’s attic. Crews stopped further spread of the fire, but damage to the home was enough to make it unlivable. The Red Cross was called in to help the residents. This is a good reminder to have your furnace, fireplace and woodstoves serviced for the winter.
