12/4 A Navajo Nation man was sentenced to 8-years in prison for assaulting a 1-month-old child. Navajo Police arrested 22-year-old Logan Nelson in October of 2022 for assaulting the baby multiple times. The last instance left the child with fractures to their left arm, legs and ribs. He recently pleaded guilty to assault resulting in serious bodily injury. Once released from prison, Nelson will be under 3-years of supervised release.
