The National Weather Service in Flagstaff says a high wind warning will be in effect from 8-pm tonight to 5-am Tuesday for Show Low, Vernon, Greer, Eagar and the Springerville areas. Southwest winds of 30 to 40-mph with gusts up to 65-mph are expected. A wind advisory remains in effect this afternoon for the remainder of the region. Expect southwest winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. The advisory ends for western Coconino and Yavapai counties tonight, the Flagstaff region and northern Gila County on Tuesday morning, and at 4-pm Tuesday for Apache and Navajo counties. A winter weather advisory is in effect this evening through Tuesday afternoon for the Kaibab Plateau above 5,500 feet, including Jacob Lake and Highway-89A in far North West Coconino County.
