Snow mentioned in next Tuesday’s Forecast

The National Weather Service in Flagstaff says drier weather is in the forecast today and Thursday, with breezy afternoon winds. Another system brings a chance of light rain showers mostly to Yavapai and Coconino Counties Friday and along the Utah border through the weekend. Friday is also calling for southwest wind gusts as high as 35-mph. There’s currently a 30% chance of showers Friday. Forecasters say we should look for a significant change in the weather next week as a very cold system moves through mid week. Overnight lows in the higher elevations will drop into the upper 20’s with a mention of snow possible Tuesday. There’s a 50% chance of rain and snow showers Tuesday; a projected snow level is not yet available.
