The Camp Verde Marshal’s Office arrested a Phoenix are 17-year old on charges he had been molesting a girl for the past few years while visiting the Camp Verde and Rimrock areas. The investigation began on August 19-th when the 6-year old victim reported that she was being touched inappropriately by the suspect. The Yavapai Family Advocacy Center interviewed the girl and determined the abuse had been ongoing for at least a year. While interviewing the suspect, he admitted to the crimes and stated he had been abusing the victim since 2018. The teen was jailed on several felony charges.
