ADOT says traffic along Highway-89 in Chino Valley has been shifted at the intersection with Road 1 North as crews work to improve traffic flow. Since early July, crews have been installing a new right turn lane on northbound 89 to eastbound Road 1 North, laying detection sensors for a new traffic signal and adding left turn lanes in each direction on Road 1 North. Traffic has been shifted to the east side of the intersection now and will remain in place until early October. Work is taking place from 8-pm to 6-am, Sundays through Fridays.
