The Cottonwood Public Works Department is still trying to clean up Riverfront Park. Officials say crews are still removing multiple layers of dirt and mud from surfaces along with draining the volleyball pit. Grass is also significantly wet and too muddy to safely walk on. As of right now, the park is still closed to the public. The park was closed last week due to monsoonal flooding.
